Salli's gravesite

Sara and her boys were down a couple of weeks ago and we made a visit out to see Salli's site. We added some new vines and ribbon and trimmed the grass etc... It looks much nicer when it's all trimmed up. We weren't sure if the hippo would still be there, it's one that Acia had left, but thankfully the grounds keeper must have decided it wasn't in his way :)

Womens Conference

Me and the girls went to the women's conference at BYU a couple of weeks ago and such a fun time!

We always love hanging out together, ordering pizza to our rooms, watching TV, laughing a lot, crocheting service scarves, and being spiritually lifted by the presenters.
Sara, Acia, Tawnee, Emma, Karon, Templ

We really hope next year our group will double in size and would love all the ladies to be able to join us (so mark our calendars!)

Me and my beautiful daughters.
My beautiful granddaughters.
Me and Acia, who was able to come at the very last minute (and everyone survived without her, she deserved a tiny break :)  She still has a hard time sometimes, but stays positive and is such a wonderful mother!

Happy Valentines to my sweetheart of 47 plus years. I want you to know how very much I love you. and how you have made my life so full and complete. I love every minute and I love the time we have together. The things we do together. Our little trips we take, and the drives. I love it when we go to the store and end up 75 miles from where we were supposed to be. How about the Sunday drive we took and ended up Cedar Canyon in a real bad snow strom and we just kept going, to come out at US89. What an adventure. Thank you Byron for your love and patience, and for all you have done for me to help me be a better person. For the family we have, and for the example you have been for them. I love you, I love you, Karon

Okay Grampa and Gram went to Salt Lake to see Chace Boy to see how things are going, and I might say that this was Byron's first trip since his surgery. We went up on the 5th and came home the 7th. Just before we left he wanted to play a game of UNO, after I won we left. His left lung is the main thing that is giving him fits right now, so that is going to be a struggle to get it working right for him. Yes right now everything is a struggle but Chace is a fighter and we know he can do it. It will be a long haul but we will be there to help. Getting the air he needs is always a struggle but I see him working hard to get what he needs. We are blessed to have him and see what example he is. After we left his dad came by from him truck ran, and he was very glad to see him. They said that he sat up in a chair for about a hour.

This is a after thought, just before Byron had his surgery we took a trip to the Twin Falls Temple, it had been open about two weeks, but we wanted to go before winter set in. We had a neat trip and enjoyed the Temple, and some extra sights.
Okay back to this weekend, this is Greyson setting in Grampa Byron's graveyard, waiting for someone to play with him

Grampa Byron adding some new paint to the ball and helping Halloween along, by the way he is doing better each day. Pretty soon we will have our old Pa Pa back

Byron found this two weeks ago out in the back yard by his shed, it is a baby rattler but just the same we didn't want it there because we had grandkids coming here the next day.( don't tell on him, he just wanted it safe for the grandkids)

Two cute kids.
Sara was down this weekend with the family and I had the kids for a time so we went and got Brooklyn to come and play. So this is Sara's second son Aidan and Lincoln's second daughter Brooklyn they are both two and play sooo good together, can you tell by their cheeks that they are family???

Saturday I had Reeve's kids for a time. This is Sara's baby Greyson he is 10 months and Reeve's baby Tait he is 5 months. They are so fun and at a cute stage. They both have big smiles and are happy babies. I love it when I get to have time with our grandkids and great grandkids. Aidan and Greyson are our great grandkids. We are very lucky to have most of our babies close by to see them grow, and so they know who we are.

US

1964

And finally, a little about our lives. We have been married since 1961 and have loved it all. We've been blessed with 8 kids, 24 grand kids, and 4 great-grandsons!
Christmas 1982

We love spending time with all of our family, we usually have some special get together's for Easter and Christmas, as well as our annual camp-out every Labor Day.
One of our first Labor day camp-outs.

We love to travel and visit as many Temples as we can when we do. We're relishing the time that we have together but, as Byron says, we're not retired, we're just plain tired!

Our great-grandsons

R. Knighton

Last, but not least, Reeve is our last child. He is married to LeAnn and they have four kids, Tolma, Kimball, Eden and Tait. They live in Southern Utah where Reeve works at a youth ranch and LeAnn gets to stay home with their kids. They are very involved with church callings, Reeve is in the bishoporic, and family so they stay very busy.

Tolman is 5 and will be in kindergarten this fall, Kimball is 3, Eden is almost 2, and Tait is the newest member of thier family, born May 4, 2008.

L. Knighton

Lincoln was number seven and our second son. He is married to Jacqui and they have (as of today!) four kids, Mikayla, Hunter, Brooklyn, and Connor. They live in Southern Utah, Lincoln works for Ford while he is going to the police academy, and Jacqui works for Costco.

Mikayla is 8 and was baptized this spring, Hunter is 5 and will start kindergarten this fall, Brooklyn is almost 2, and Connor was just born at 9:55 this morning! He weighed in at 8 lbs 11 oz and is already letting mom take a nap.
